Hello Baseball & Fireworks participants! Here is what you need to know for tonight's game.
If you are meeting us at Waypoint North, we are departing no later than 5:45pm! All ride assignments have been pre-assigned. Any swaps will need to be cleared with the drivers themselves. Please plan to get to Waypoint North at 5:30pm to avoid any chance of being late. No-Shows will not be refunded and you'll be on your own.
Some of you have elected to secure your own rides and meet us at the park. You will still need to meet the whole group at Will Call at the HOME PLATE ENTRANCE of Chaney Stadium. If you enter through the back entrance, you'll need to walk around to the front.
Parking Situation: Most of us will be parking at the Center St Park 'n Ride (https://maps.app.goo.gl/fsMSKXDFwhgnb7sv5).
It's free, but is not secured, so there is risk involved! Many of us have been parking there for years and have not had an issue. We'll park there, then take a short walk on the paved trail that goes through the underpass and up to the ballpark.
IF you choose to park at the stadium itself, it will cost you $10 per vehicle, and there will likely be delays waiting as traffic will be tight since it's a fireworks night.
Expectations and Rules:
All students will be responsible to all youth leaders, and to the driver of the vehicle they rode up in. We will meet outside the stadium, distribute tickets and hats, and then enter together. We will find our seats, and once that is done, students will be free to roam, provided they clear it with a youth leader or their chaperone first. Younger students will be expected to have a youth leader with them at all times.
Money:
Remember, this is a cashless facility. However, if your student wants to give their cash to me (Pastor Drew) I am willing to make purchases for them with my Debit Card. Other youth leaders are willing to do this as well.
